What is Discussing Stupid?

We’ve all had digital experiences that piss us off—whether it's trying to navigate a confusing website, searching for something but finding nothing, or waiting forever for a page to load. We created Discussing Stupid as a space to vent, analyze, and most importantly—provide solutions for these digital disasters.

Hosted by Virgil Carroll, CEO of High Monkey, armed with over 25 years of experience in web development, design, and strategy, this podcast is all about making the digital world a better place. Whether it’s bad UX, clunky collaboration workflows, or just plain foolish digital decisions, we’re here to break down what’s wrong and how to get on the right track.

What's new in Season 2?

Back in 2018, Discussing Stupid launched as a deep-dive podcast covering all the ways digital experiences go wrong. Episodes were long, packed with broad discussions, and featured expert guests. But after just nine episodes, life got busy, and the podcast slipped into hiatus.

Now, after a five-year break, Discussing Stupid is back—leaner, sharper, and more focused than ever. This season, we’re cutting the fluff and getting straight to the stupidity. Shorter episodes. Specific topics. Practical takeaways. Whether you’re here to laugh at bad UX or learn how to fix it, Season 2 delivers.
